    Dealer Notes

This 1995 Acura NSX-T was modified by Comptech for the 1996 SEMA Show, including the installation of a wide-body kit and a repaint in Spa Yellow. The replacement 3.2-liter DOHC V6 has been fitted with a Comptech supercharger, cylinder heads, high-lift camshafts, and exhaust system, while a six-speed manual transaxle has also been installed and is equipped with a Comptech Powergrip clutch and 4.55:1 final drive gearing. Additional modifications include a harness bar, staggered-width Forgeline wheels, and upgraded brake and suspension components. The car was acquired by the seller in 2013, reportedly following approximately two decades of storage, and subsequent work consisted of cleaning the fuel injectors and replacing the catalytic converters, fuel pump, and spark plugs. This NSX-T shows 21k miles and is now offered with the owners manual, service records, a car cover, a copy of the window sticker, and a clean California title in the sellers name.

Originally delivered in red, the car was repainted Spa Yellow after being fitted with a Comptech wide-body kit, including flared fenders and revised front and rear spoilers, along with a carbon-fiber rear diffuser. Additional equipment includes Comptech decals, a removable body-color roof panel, pop-up headlights, fog lights, an aftermarket taillight assembly, a red Acura badge, side air intakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets.

Staggered-width Forgeline wheels were fitted in 2013 and mounted with Michelin tires measuring 245/40/17 up front and 285/35/18 out back. A Comptech PowerTec brake system was fitted during the build and utilizes Brembo calipers, cross-drilled rotors, and stainless steel lines. Comptech suspension modifications consist of competition springs and struts, an aluminum shock tower brace, and a rear toe link and bushing package.

The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in black leather, along with Simpson multi-point harnesses attached to a harness bar. Carbon fiber trim accents the center stack and door panels, and amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, and a cassette stereo. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the cars serial number.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with an 8,000-rpm redline, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 21k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.2-liter C32B V6 was reportedly installed during the build and features dual overhead camshafts on each cylinder bank as well as a Comptech supercharger. Additional modifications are said to include Comptech cylinder heads, high-lift camshafts, a high-volume oil pump with billet gears, and a high-flow airbox. Work in 2013 following an extended period of storage consisted of cleaning the fuel injectors and replacing the fuel pump, spark plugs, and fluids.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle reportedly fitted with a Comptech Powergrip clutch and a limited-slip differential with 4.55:1 final drive gearing. Comptech headers and a stainless-steel cat-back exhaust system were also added during the build, and the catalytic converters were replaced in 2013.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California since the first entry in November 2012. The car was designated a Gross Polluter in 2013 and most recently passed a California emissions test in June 2023, however, various aftermarket engine components installed are not CARB-compliant.

Fun to drive and own! I've owned this Acura for several years and I get nothing but complements! Driving around town, I could be citied with a ticket for causing unnecessary accidents and neck injuries from drivers in the opposite lanes doing a "double take" look at this NSX! "Is it a Ferrari?", one bystander asked. "It's that new sportscar from Acura! Wow!", a military soldier telling another colleague. No TPMS, no BSM, no back up sensors or Eco mode and no beverage holders in this sportscar. Justs sweet looking and drive ride that growls when you accelerate and when the VTec kicks in. It handles like a true sportscar! The car is so balanced under acceleration/braking and entering into and out of turns...probably due to the after market coilovers. Ground clearance is not an issue due to the design...everything is tucked up and out of the way. Tire clearance? I'm running 18x9.5 on 215/35r 18 in the front and 19x11.5 on 275/30r 19 on the rear...and still have room to go wider, but I would caution that. One of my female clients saw me in the NSX and said the car looks sexy! I once parked my Acura next to a brand new red 2014 corvette and boy, did people flock to the NSX. The NSX has this nostalgic look that just doesn't seem to look outdated...especially being 1991 model. Aloha and Mahalo!!!
